Matwerkz Biobreak is a class of bio-compostable and/or bio-degradable compounds that are designed to provide excellent mechanical performance and stability during the product lifetime of < 2 years and can be easily disposed in an eco-friendly manner at their end-of life. These materials can be tuned in terms of mechanical performance, processability and decomposition rate in order to achieve the required performance and regulatory specifications. The base materials in these compounds would determine the environment (i.e. landfill, compost, marine) at which they would decompose in the most efficient and safe manner.
